Full-time Academic Translators Wanted in Taipei, Taiwan

Job Description:
1. Deliver timely translation papers as assigned
2. Deliver translation papers of consistent and acceptable quality
3. Compliance: a) Implement suggestions provided by editor and proofreader evaluations; b) Follow instructions provided by CS regarding assigned cases
4. Make necessary and appropriate adjustments/accommodations to departmental requirements regarding occasional proofreading responsibilities, scheduling changes, translation tool implementation, etc.

Job Skills required:
- Native ability in Chinese
- Translation from Chinese to English
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is essential
- Detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure

Qualifications:
- A cheerful attitude and ability to work with other editors and management
- Bachelor¡¦s degree. Master¡¦s preferred
- Experience in literature search using the Internet
- Experience in academic writing (e.g., dissertation or thesis)
- Detail-oriented, willingness to learn, ability to work independently
