Language Link Vietnam seeking ESL Teachers teaching at Vietnamese Public Schools – Very Attractive Salary

Required qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• A CELTA, Trinity or equivalent TEFL teaching certificate
• A Police Clearance Check (valid within 6 months)
• Native level English speaker

• Self sufficient: ability to manage oneself in a new cultural environment

• Mobile: flexible in adjusting to transportation in Hanoi
• Experienced: at ease with larger classes, various approaches to ESL teaching , and previous work in public schools
• Creative: ability to solve problems and come up with interesting and dynamic lesson plans
• Committed: willing to stay until contract completion

• Start date:
-Positions starting in August, with some early start dates in July. There is a paid induction for all teachers prior to starting your school year. All schools finish in May 2017.

Salary and Benefits:

-Currency used for contract & payment: VND
-395,000 VND (approximately 17.5 $) to 460,000 VND (approximately 21 $) per hour;
-At least an additional 87,560 VND (approximately 4$) per hour off-site bonus on top of the base rate;
-Guaranteed minimum of 70 teaching hours of up to 100+ scheduled hours per month; Classes are between 7.30 am and 6.30 pm Monday to Friday;
-High completion bonus and severance payment;
-Tax is payable on a progressive scale and averages around 10-13%

• Holiday:
-16 days paid annual leave (applicable for 1 year contract);
-10 days paid national holidays
-Up to 4 days paid for Christmas
