English Teachers for Surin City

GEC has vacancies for mathayom teachers at a government high school in Surin city centre close to all amenities and transport links.

Our teacher’s hours of work are from 07.30 to 16.00, Monday to Friday and they have
18 - 22 contact periods a week.

All teaching materials are provided and our GEC school coordinators are on site to advise and assist our teachers.

Teacher orientation is on 12th and 13th May 2016 and teaching starts on 16th May.
The contracts run until March 2017.

All Thai national holidays are paid and two weeks of the mid-year break (around October) are paid holiday. The salaries are 32,000 to 35,000 baht per month depending on the teacher’s qualifications and experience, with a 20,000 baht completion bonus that is paid at the end of the contract in March 2017.

Short-term hotel accommodation is provided on arrival and our coordinators assist our new teachers to select a house or an apartment close to their school.

All documentation and full assistance is given to obtain a non-immigrant B visa and a work permit will be provided.

Applicants must be living in Thailand now and able to attend an interview at short notice and start no later than 12th May 2016.

Ideally, applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and an English teaching qualification, such as TEFL, TESOL or CELTA.

Please note that we can only accept applications from native English speakers, South Africans and teachers with near-native fluency from European countries.
