ESL Teaching Adventure in Ethiopia

Hillside School is a highly-regarded private k-12 school with 3,000 studentslocated in Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia. Hillside School seeks several ESL teachers as short-term volunteers or semi-annual or annual contracted employees. Experienced ESL teachers, recent graduates, retired teachers,and other professionals are encouraged to apply.

Start Date: Immediately, although applications are accepted year-round.

Qualifications: Flexible, but you must be a NATIVE English speaker. A college degree, a TEFL/TESOL certificate and/or teacher license preferred, but not required.

Job Description: Teach English speaking, reading, and writing.

Hillside School offers you most everything an international volunteer organization provides, but with payment, housing and support to you by Hillside School. Theseincludes:

• Airport pickup.
• Upon arrival, orientation to Ethiopia, Addis Ababa, and Hillside School.
• Free furnished private accommodations in walking distance of school.
• Monthly stipend or salary of USD $600/month, tax free.
• Expenses associated with government work permit and residence permit.
• Curriculum support and team teaching opportunities.

Note that you are required to provide your own airfare and health insurance.
