PLC is a fast-growing English private school for children from elementary to middle school in Bundang, Korea

We currently include 7 gyopo teachers and one of them is to open her own school in other area after many years of experience here. Due to her plan, we 're looking for a passionate, caring teacher who loves teaching and children.

Two principles of PLC are English Education Experts with many years of experience and we provide teacher training and seminars for those who want to develop and expand their teaching spectrum. Most teachers of PLC have worked here for a long time and have plans to open their own schools, too.

Location:

Bundang, Seongnam City,Gyung Gi Do, Korea
Bundang is one of the most flourished suburban area near Seoul: it takes about 20 min. to Gangnam, Seoul by car or subway. Bundang has many green areas including many parks as well as recreational and retail facilities.

Working Conditions:

- Five-day work week (Monday through Friday)
- No Saturdays or split shifts.
- Work hours: 1:00 pm - 9:00pm
- 28 ~ max. 32 classes per week (Class hour : 40 min.)
- Class size: max. 8
- Age Group: elementary to middle school
- Contract term: annual, renewable with raise
- Curriculum: Set curriculum and textbooks provided

Monthly Salary with NO housing:

2.5~2.8 million won per month (commensurate with experience and/or qualifications)

Benefits

- Severance Pay (equivalent to monthly salary) upon completion of a one-year contract
- Paid 5 days vacation (3 days in summer and 2 days in winter) in addition to all national holidays

Requirements:

Native or Bilingual or Gyopo English speaker
BA/BS degree
English / Education degree preferred, but not necessary
Teaching experience preferred, but not necessary
