Teachers Needed - State Schools in the Moscow Region, Russia

IEC Schools, a subsidiary of the established chain “International Educational Centre”, is offering a unique opportunity to teach ESL in Russian state schools in Balashikha, Moscow Region. Successful applicants will join our friendly team, and should be available for positions starting in September and October.

We will be teaching in several schools across the town, but you will be based in only one school per day. Teaching hours will enable you to have free evenings, and you will also get additional paid holidays during the typical state school holidays. And you will still be able to use all the fantastic, up-to-date resources of our parent school.

Balashikha is located a short bus ride from a Metro station, with easy access to the city centre. It has everything you need, including supermarkets etc.

Successful applicants will:
• be a NATIVE SPEAKER OF ENGLISH
• have a university degree
• have a recognised teaching qualification (CELTA, TESOL, TEFL etc.)
• be enthusiastic about teaching and living in Russia
• be open to teaching all ages and levels

Benefits:
• a stable salary, linked to the dollar exchange rate, starting at 40,000 rubles/month

• 30 academic hours per week (1 academic hour = 45 minutes) with 2 consecutive days off
