Teachers Needed in Ibaraki, Gunma, Yamanashi, or Tokyo, Japan

Berkeley House Language Center is one of Japanfs leading language schools. Our company has been providing language learning services for nearly 40 years mainly in Tokyo, but we are expanding our business throughout Japan. We are looking for career-oriented educators who desire to gain teaching and international business experience.

We are currently seeking experienced Business English Instructors for up-coming positions around Japan starting in August:
● Contract Period: August/September 2016 – January/February 2017 (6-month initial contract with chance of renewal)
● Locations: Ibaraki, Yamanashi, Gunma
● Work Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00, (3-6 classes per day)
● Class Length: 55 minutes
● Class Type: One-on-one, semi-private, small group
● Students: Corporate office workers/engineers
● Remuneration: 270,000 yen per month plus transportation expenses to/from class location

Qualification Requirements:
● Career-oriented and dedicated educator
● Native level English language
● University graduate with BA/BS/MA in Linguistics, TESL/TEFL or a related field OR BA/BS/MA in another field PLUS TESL/TESOL/CELTA certification
● At least three-yearsf ESL/EFL teaching experience with adults
● Ability to learn our teaching methods and implement them successful in the classroom

Ideal candidates:
● MA in Applied Linguistics, Linguistics, Education or a related field
● At least three-yearsf Business ESL/EFL teaching experience
