Licensed Teachers Needed (English)

1. [200SHKF0000] Well regarded private school K-9 in historic and charming seaport city, Northern Taiwan, only 30 min. away from Taipei City! (SURFING NEARBY!)

Monthly pay: 65000-68000NT to start, raise after 3 months trial

Monthly attendance bonus: 1000NT

Annual performance bonus: Up to one month’s salary (Approx 29NT = 1US)

Contract length: Until end of July, max 10 months (July-August = optional summer months)

Contract start date: July/August. 2014

Working hours: 920am to 540pm, Monday to Friday, with one-hour lunch break (teaching hours and office hours)

Chinese co-teacher assistance: Available

Curriculum: ESL textbooks for Bilingual Program where set curriculum is provided, with strong emphasis on grammar excellence

Class size: around 30 students

Class period: 40 min. long

Meals: Free lunch

Dorm: FREE furnished single dormitory rooms available for teachers

Students’ age group: G1 to G6

Number of foreign teachers onboard: 6, some have stayed for 3+ years.

Qualifications:

1. Native speaker of English

2. Professional with valid teaching certificate or permanent Taiwan resident status

3. Zeal for educating young children

4. Energetic and outgoing personality

5. Ready to commit for one-year contract

6. Teamwork spirit

7. Flexible and excited about learning another culture

8. Clear diction and good classroom management skills

9. Age between 23-43

10. Females preferred
