I Can Read System - Vietnam is seeking full time teachers to work at our Ho Chi Minh City centres. We require a full-time teacher for our Binh Tan centre immediately. We are also recruiting to fill other upcoming full-time positions
I Can Read is a literacy-based English teaching organisation active throughout Asia, and is currently growing rapidly in Vietnam. Our unique, specially-developed system helps students develop the literacy skills necessary to achieve excellence in all four skill areas. Teachers receive huge satisfaction from seeing the rapid improvement in their students' abilities, and enjoy using a system that is scientifically proven to work. Visit http://www.icanread.asia/vietnam/english/home for more information.
Paid full training will be provided, as will continual professional development. Our students tend to be between 3 and 15, so experience teaching young learners (especially very Young Learners) would be desirable. Equally important is a readiness to adapt to our special system, a positive attitude and an open and friendly personality. Our lessons are held on weekday evenings and weekends, though the amount of hours varies depending on the centre. It is also important that candidates are able to travel, as you may have to work in more than one centre on occasion.
Requirements: The successful candidates will be native speakers from the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland or South Africa and hold a degree and a recognised teaching certificate. Applicants with a background in Early Childhood Development are especially desirable. Please bear in mind that our system is unique so you must be willing to adapt to our special approach.
Remuneration: Full-time teachers start at 37 million VND per month.
If you are interested in joining our team, and using a system that really works, please apply with a full CV (in Word format), two recent photos and a relevant cover letter by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to welcoming you to the I Can Read family!
Due to the high number of applications we receive, only candidates shortlisted for interview will receive a response.
