Young Learner Product Development Manager Needed at ILA Vietnam

The EY (English for Young Learners) Product Development Manager will be part of the product development department at head office, working to deliver the best possible products for our Jumpstart and Super Juniors programmes.

The Product Development Manager should ensure ILA is responding to current market demands for the relevant age group, ensure we are using the best and most up-to-date materials/resources/course books in the market, as well as ensuring our academic team and teachers receive regular training for these products.

At the end of 2016, ILA will aim to launch improvements to its programmes that encompass 21st century learning principles. The EY Product Development Manager will be key in leading, supervising launch and preparing training content for multiple stakeholders and overseeing implementation in the first year.

This person needs to be extremely creative, energetic and self-motivated. They need to be familiar with the most up-to-date educational tech tools and how these can maximize learning in the ILA classroom. In addition, the role will involve classroom observations of the product, gathering feedback from the academic team, as well as through customer survey and feedback, and recommending changes as/when needed.

The Product Development Manager will need to liaise with multiple departments at ILA, including center management, academic management, sales and marketing. Initial training and on-going support will provided by the Product Development Director.

Requirements:
DELTA / Masters in TESOL or equivalent – (part completion may be considered).
Extensive teaching experience (4+ years with relevant age group).
Native English Speaker level.
Bachelor Degree.
Deep understanding of 21st century learning concepts and its application in ELT.
Project management experience.
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
A great deal of energy and enthusiasm.
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects independently.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work some weekend days.
Experience working within reputable language teaching organizations.
Experience using technology in the classroom.

Starting dates:
