Qualified teachers for international school in Fujairah/Dibba (UAE)

An international school based in Fujairah/Dibba in UAE are currently looking for a fresh graduate qualified teachers or with a couple of years teaching experience

The vacancies are:
• 24 Homeroom teachers (grade 1-10) to teach English,
• 4 Male PE Teachers
• 2 French teacher
• 4 Female IT teacher
• 2 KG1 teacher
• 4 Art Teacher
• 10 Teachers (grade 1-10) Math and Science teachers

Teachers interested in this position must be qualified teachers with BS.c in Education and a relevant teaching qualification. Applicants must have a minimum of 1-4 years recent and consistent experience in teaching.
Applicants should have a proven track record of planning lessons and supporting students to achieve their full potential. The international school aims to provide a American style of education. Students are encouraged to be independent both in learning and attitude. The school attempts to develop a strong sense of community and mutual understanding. This is a national school which expatriates are allowed to attend. The school is divided into four sections, consisting of Early Years, KG , Primary and the High School. There are 1800 students aged 3 -17 years in the school. Class sizes are restricted to a maximum of 25 students. A high standard of presentation in the school is required and staff are expected to make their classrooms inviting and stimulating learning environments.

The staff currently consists of 170 teachers of whom 130 are expatriate Canadian/American/UK/Australian/New Zealanders and the remainder teachers should preferably fulfil the following criteria;
• Enjoys good relations with parents, staff and students, therefore can contribute to the team ethic.
• Experience of students for whom English is a second language
• Have a positive approach to student learning
• Be able to adapt teaching styles to accommodate variety in learning strategies
• A willingness to contribute to the extracurricular life of the school ⢠Be prepared to follow the policies of the school
• A degree or associated degree in the subject they are offering plus a teaching qualification. - B.Ed or B.A./BSc.
