Teaching in Quang Ngai

1. Introduction

Quảng Ngãi is a province in the South Central Coast region of Vietnam, on the coast of South China Sea. It is located 883 kilometres (549 mi) south of Hanoi and 838 kilometres (521 mi) north of Hồ Chí Minh City.

1. Facility

QN Center is built among 300 m², villa architecture – about 360 m² for the first floor and second floor. There are 8 rooms and 4 WC that consist of:

05 classrooms, average square 20 m²

01 Lab room: 5 computers for teachers and students in need

01 director room

01 reception desk, about 40 m²

Every floor has 2 WC

All areas are set up the camera. There is a canteen, about 80 m² – full – furnished, a fridge, audio speaker, flash…

Parking lot is control 50 motorbikes and cars beside the area. 

2. Classroom facility

All classrooms are set up the AC and Led TV 42 inch with HDMI connected to PC.

There is a wooden floor room to celebrate the monthly birthday for students and teachers.

01 Lab room: 5 computers for teachers and students in need, at reception desk, there is a TV 43 inch to show the picture, outside activities and facility for customers.

3. Requirements:

• Age: 22 – 40
• Educational background: TESOL/TEFL/CELTA or Trinity Certificate.
• Experience: teaching English at the age of 5 – 15, textbook: Family and Friends, Super minds …
• English Native Teachers from US, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa or from Holland, Spain, Turkey, Germany…

4. Benefits:

We want to get a permanent teacher at our center. We will take care of paper works and all things: 

• Accommodation: At first, the teacher will stay in the basic hotel near the school. It has TV, free wifi, WC, bed, desk …; For a long working, we will find out and pay the rent of the apartment for the teacher.
• Transportation: from the first 2 months, we will pick up the teacher or until you are familiar with the streets.
• Teaching hours: 8 hour per week, in case the school cannot use enough 8 hours per week, we count you 8 hours, maximum 20 hours per week (for net salary).
• Net salary: $16 to 20 per hours
• Overtime rate: If you work more than 20 hours per week, from the 21^st hour that will be counted $22 per hour.
• Payment: Vietnam dong, weekly or month base on the teacher’s wish. Overtime salary will pay at the 30^th every month. It means the net salary will pay weekly or monthly but the overtime salary will pay at the 30^th of every month.

For example: you work 26 hours per week, your salary will be counted:

$15 x 20 + 6 x $22 = $320 + $132.

• You will get $320 for this week and $132 at the 30^th of this month

Other benefits:

• In-teaching periods: the teacher will get a free drink (orange, lemon, watermelon juice or coffee …) and a snack like cookies or fruit.

For permanent teachers (work here at least 6 months)

Vocation:

+ Every 2 weeks, we support all fee a trip for one place in the province (one night).

+ Every month, on Saturday and Sunday, we paid all fee travelling fee from Quang Ngai to Da Nang and a night in Golden Beach Hotel, next to the center of city and about 800 meters from Rong bridge.

Health Care: The teacher will get a free-membership card from Gym and Yoga Blue Fit, $5 per day; it is the best quality gym in Quang Ngai
