English Teachers Needed in Tam Ky City, Quang Nam Province, Vietnam

American Academy (AMA) is a top-ranking English training center operating over 30 branches in Vietnam. Our Tam Ky city branch in Quang Nam province is currently seeking two qualified English teachers, one beginning immediately and the other beginning August 7.

Tam Ky is a small city of 150,000 inhabitants located 90 minutes south of Danang. Job Description:

* Teaching 80 to 100 hours per month
* All Mondays are off; teaching occurs from Tuesday morning to Sunday evening each week.
* Students typically range in age from five up to around 30
* Approximately half of teaching hours will be spent doing one-on-one and group speaking practice
* Professional development and mentoring provided
* Lesson planning not to exceed 10 hours per month
* Grading not to exceed 5 hours per month
* Attends regularly scheduled teachers' meetings and school promotional functions (maximum 10 hours per month)
* Net salary ranges from 20 to 32 million VND per month
* Term of the contract may range from 6 to 24 months

Qualifications

* All nationalities where English is used as a primary language are encouraged to apply (UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, Philippines, India, Singapore)
* Must hold a bachelor's degree (any field)
* Must possess a teaching certificate (TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, TEFL)
* At least 3 years of teaching experience, including at least one year mentoring IELTS/TOEFL/TOEIC students
* Must possess or be willing to apply for a Vietnam Work Permit
* Will be punctual and neatly dressed; no visible tattoos or piercings (other than ladies’ earrings)
