Description
inlingua Naples is looking for experienced and qualified English teachers to start in September 2016. We offer full training, a guaranteed monthly salary and a friendly working environment.
With 355 schools in 44 countries, 50 of which are in Italy, inlingua is one of the largest language training groups in the world and over 300,000 people do courses with us every year. Our school is based in Naples, in southern Italy. Not only is Naples one of the most vibrant and historically rich cities in Italy, but it is also within easy reach of the famous sights of Pompei, Capri, Ischia, and the Amalfi Coast.
The syllabus is varied and teachers will have a range of classes including different levels and programmes, individuals and small groups, and students of all ages. We have our own inlingua books which follow the basic grammar and cover one of three programmes – General English, Business English or Young Learners – but around these core books it is frequently necessary to adapt the programme (with the help and guidance of the DOS) to students' specific needs.
At inlingua Naples we pride ourselves on the quality of our staff and the standard of our services. All teachers are given training upon arrival and, as well as day to day support from the DOS, they have access to a variety of teaching resources.

Salary and benefits
Teachers are offered a freelance contract with a basic starting salary of €14 per hour for lessons in school and €15.50 for lessons in-company. Teaching hours will vary, but to guarantee a steady income in quieter months, teachers are paid a guaranteed minimum of €1,120 per month (80 hours) in months when they have taught less than 80 hours. On average teachers work 25 hours per week, but in particularly busy weeks you could teach anywhere up to 35 hours (although this is rare.)
Requirements
Ideal candidates will have university degrees in related subjects, a CELTA or TEFL qualification, and at least one year of teaching experience. Unfortunately, we are only able to consider EU citizens due to legal restrictions. We will not be able to consider your application without EU citizenship.
