VOLUNTEER LANGUAGE TEACHERS FOR GLOBAL VOYAGE

GET, Peace Boat's language training programme, is now accepting applications for English and Spanish language instructors for the 93rd global voyage departing Japan on December 9, 2016 and returning to Japan on March 23, 2017. The Volunteer Language Teacher application deadline is 17:00 JST (Japan Standard Time) on Friday, August 19, 2016. National interviews are scheduled to be held on September 10th and 11th (Saturday and Sunday) at the GET Office in Tokyo, Japan. Interviews for oversees applicants will be conducted via Skype around the time of the national interviews. Please check back to our website as these dates are subject to change.

Conditions of Employment:
This position is for enthusiastic, highly motivated, dynamic individuals with a minimum of 18-months of full-time language teaching experience. Applicants should be highly advanced speakers of English or Spanish, although it is not necessary to be a 'native' or 'first-language' speaker. Certification or graduate degree and Japanese ability is highly regarded. This is a volunteer position but voyage expenses are covered.
