Engage in conversation with Chinese children in mainland China, giving them an opportunity to practice listening to and speaking English. Most of the children can read and write English, but are unable to speak it. You will have two 25 minute sessions per hour. Each session pays $10/session. That is $20/hour before PayPal fee

Responsibilities

BOXFISH Tutor app, assists with the dialog, allowing you to view the student and they you. There are images that you slide to progress through your dialog. with a smart phone. You are to engage the student with good open ended questions that require them to answer with more than just one word. You are expected to keep the dialog going for a full 25 minutes, no more and no less. You are also encouraged to get the student to smile and maybe even laugh to help boost their courage to want to talk.

Qualifications

Must be a native English speaker, reared in a country that is officially English speaking. GPA of 3.2 (B+) or higher. Age 12 and up (12-15 must be under the supervision of an adult) Must be fun and outgoing, able to make people laugh and feel good about themselves. You must have an Android or Apple product. Android version 4.4 or higher and for Apple, IOS 7.0 or higher. You must have excellent 4G or Wi-Fi and a quiet distraction free area to conduct your sessions.
