Urgent!!! Opportunities for CELTA qualified EFL/ESL Teachers in Altamura/ Gravina south of Italy, September 2016

London Bridge is a young, vibrant and dynamic school of English set in a quiet neighbourhood close to the centre of Altamura, "the city of bread and good food", in the south of Italy.

We are a recognised Cambridge Preparation Centre, and we are looking for full time teachers for the academic year 2016-2017. We are seeking qualified and experienced teachers to teach a range of courses for children, teenagers and adults at all levels. We follow the Cambridge English suite of courses (comprising Starters, Movers, Flyers, KET, PET and First), as well as offering pre-Starters preparation courses for young children, and a variety of bespoke General and Business English courses for adults. Through our monthly film and book clubs, and our annual study trip to the UK (York in 2016), we are building a lively community of enthusiastic English language learners here in the south of Italy.

Our courses take place in our own modern and well-equipped school premises in Altamura and Gravina, as well as off-site in local state schools.

Essential requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- CELTA or Trinity
- European driving licence
- minimum 1 years’ experience
- native speaker of English or C2 level

Teachers are usually hired on a fixed-term contract for the academic year (September 2016 to the end of June or July 2017) which will be renewed for the following academic year.

Competitive salary with nine-month employment contract including full social security contributions paid by our school. The average working week is 25 contact hours. Additional teaching hours paid as overtime.
The actual salary will be based on experience and qualifications but ranges from €1,100 to €1,200 net per month.
