Position Title: Teacher

Overview

Language Training Center (LTC):

LTC is a language school, established in Astana, Kazakhstan.

The main business idea of LTC is to organize high quality English courses provided ONLY by native speakers for all categories of customers. LTC offers customer oriented business English courses for national companies, IELTS courses for students that are willing to study abroad and General and Intensive English courses.

In addition, LTC has a strong relationships with Heriot Watt university so as to provide preparation courses for those students who would like to get ready for partner university programmes.

Primary objective of the position:

Teacher will join our team of 4 foreign teachers and will be responsible for the provision of English language courses for all categories of our customers (mainly they are high school students). As well, teacher will be responsible for the testing of their students and further marking the tests. Teacher will be be frequently involved in the analysis of courses LTC provides and will be welcome for their feedbacks.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Gender: Female/Male

Age: from 23-40

MUST BE A NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER

Education and Qualifications:

Complited University degree (BA or MSc degree, relevant or irrelevant to teaching) is a must

TEFL/TESOL or CELTA certificate is a must

Training, Skills and Knowledge:

Minimum of 1 year of teaching English as a second language, along with a sound knowledge of education principles in a TESOL environment.

A student focused approach to teaching activities and an overall client-centred approach.

Curriculum development skills.

Experience in teaching Academic English Programmes

Teaching Conditions:

40 working hours week

25 to 28 teaching hours and 12 hours preparation a week

2 days off in a week

10 students a class

Courses from Elementary to Upper Intermediate plus IELTS classes

Our offer:

Annual after Tax salary from 22'000 to 24'000 USD

Free tickets to Kazakhstan and back to your country as the contract is finished
