Whizdom English is a family-run, highly organised and forward-looking language school with a solid reputation, located in a pleasant neighbourhood of Logroño, La Rioja, NE Spain.
Now in our sixth year, we take pride in offering high standard services throughout, providing our students with a very positive learning environment.
You will be joining a highly professional and motivated team who constantly strive to provide a high-quality EFL teaching experience to students of all ages and levels, starting at 3 years old.
Led by a DELTA-qualified DoS and supported by an ADoS and Head of Young Learners, you will receive assistance and guidance throughout.
Our school is modern and very well-resourced, all classrooms are equipped with iWB, computers and speakers; with an average of 8 students per class. We use traditional EFL text books and prepare students for Cambridge English examinations.

We are looking for dedicated teachers who connect with, genuinely enjoy working with young people and take pride in what they do. Successful candidates will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and learning, and should be able to motivate and instil an interest in learning English.
We need one native level, CELTA-qualified teacher to work full-time (20-25 contact hours per week) teaching 6 years+ students.

Teachers are contracted from the end of September 2016 until end of June 2017. Teaching hours Mon-Thurs 16:00-21:00 Fri 16:00-19:00.

Logroño is a small, safe and friendly city in the Autonomous Community of La Rioja, famous for its wine. La Rioja borders Navarra, Castilla and León and Pais Vasco, offering the traveller many opportunities. Logroño is also justly proud of its most distinguished culinary traditions and lively nightlife.
The city is surrounded by beautiful mountains, countryside and villages, and is just a 90-minute drive from France. The Camino de Santiago comes through the city, bringing with it an openness clearly evident amongst the locals.

. CELTA or equivalent (except online courses)
. Native or proven native-ability English speaker CEFR C2, with experience of living and working in an English-speaking country
. EU passport holder or EU work permit
. Minimum 1 year experience teaching young learners
. Relevant references

. relevant University degree

. CELTYL or equivalent

Salary and Benefits
. 90 minute Spanish class per week.

. Legal contract with paid taxes and social security, as regulated by Spanish employment laws
. Paid Christmas and Easter holidays.
. Salary of 12€-13€ per contact hour gross, depending on experience and qualifications.
. End of term (Christmas and Easter) and end of contract bonuses, amounting to one month extra pay.
. Constant support and guidance in a pleasant work environment.
