Senior English Teacher for Kids Needed in Shanghai (18-24K/Month plus Allowence)

So far Athena has established 5 teaching centers in 4 cities throughout China and will expand to 10 centers in 7 cities by the end of 2017. We are looking for exceptional, enthusiastic and creative educators to engage with innovative teaching approaches, and contribute to the development and delivery of outstanding and engaging language and design courses.

Position: Senior English Teacher
Location: Shanghai
Student Age: 5-14
Class Size: 4-12
Work Hour: 5days/week * 8hours/day (Weekends off for summer/winter vacation, weekdays off for school time)

Main Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high quality Phonics, literature and writing classes to students
2. Discern the structure of the day's lesson plan
3. Issue and explain homework assignments
4. Liaise with Head Teacher/Teacher Manager
5. Write student assessment reports
6. Undertake regular library coaching duties
7. Assist in marketing activities and promotions

Candidate Requirements:
1. Native English speakers only
2. Bachelor¡¯s degree or above, BA/MA in Education preferred
3. Teaching certificate preferred.
4. 2+years reading/writing teaching experience on English courses for kids

Compensation:
1. Basic Monthly salary (Negotiable according to ability and experience)
2. Work visa provided
