Teaching Positions in Taichung and Changhua, Taiwan

There are 3 teaching positions staring in February, however start dates in January are available if a teacher is eager to begin teaching. The positions are all with NeuroLink English School.

School: NeuroLink English School

Contract Length: 12 months with option to extend.

Pay Rate: 600NT (£14.75) an hour with pay rises throughout the year.

Age of Students: 5 to 15 years old. There are also private adult classes at most schools.

Location: Taichung and Changhua

Class Size: 10 - 18

NeuroLink is a great school for new and experienced teachers, you are supported and given guidance the entire time. Many teachers extend their contracts and are always willing to help and give advice. The school encourages new and creative ideas, creating an atmosphere of professional growth amongst the teachers.

Two of the jobs are located in Taichung city, a bustling, vibrant city with plenty of things to do in the evenings and weekends. There are bars, nightclubs, restaurants, excellent museums, parks, art galleries and anything else you would want to relax when not in a classroom.

The other, in Changhua city, is at the largest NeuroLink school in Taiwan. Changhua is quieter and smaller than Taichung but is nestled just beneath the beautiful mountain ranges of Taiwan. You are only a short scoot or cycle from being in the mountains, and is ideal if you like hiking and cycling. As it is smaller than Taichung, the westerner community is very welcoming and sociable.
