EFL Program, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) seeks camp instructors with excellent teaching and education background. Instructors will be teaching academic English skills to highly bright high-school students who have been admitted into KAIST.
KAIST is world-renowned and is Korea's most prestigious higher institution in the field of science and technology, educating Korea's brightest students and equally capable international students to become highly qualified scientists and engineers. KAIST teaches the majority of classes in English; therefore, great emphasis is placed on English language education. The campus is located in Daejeon, one hour from Seoul by KTX, a bullet train.
NUMBER OF OPENINGS : 4~6 instructors
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree preferred in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or Linguistics; native fluency.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
-assist in developing lessons and materials prior to the camp
-attend meetings and special activities when required
-evaluate students and submit final report
-attend orientation r before the start of the camp
-teach from 9:15 AM to 9 PM, Monday through Friday(one Saturday may be included)
DURATION: Jan. 4(Wed.) to Jan. 24(Wed.).2017.
PAYMENT: 38,000 won per hour; the final payment will be approximately 4.5 million won.
HOUSING: shared dormitory with another instructor
