Position description:

Position 1
Santa for Christmas Event
Number of opening: 1
Date: 2016 Dec 23rd(Fri)
Working hr: 9:40 am~12:00 pm
Job Description: Give presents to children, Read cards for kids and take photos with them in Santa costume in the gym.
Age group: Kindergarten children
Salary: 150,000 KRW( 3.3% tax deduction)

Position 2
Winter Intensive
Number of opening: 1
Starting/Ending date: 2017 Jan 2nd(Mon) to Jan 20th (Fri) for three weeks (One day training is needed during December 2016 and training fee is provided)
Job Description: Teach fun subjects of the given Lesson plan form JES such as Science, Gym, Art&Craft, Drama, Music in English ect., Writing Report card(end of the intensive course) for students
Age group: 7yr~10yr
Salary: 2.0mil KRW (3.3% tax deduction)
Working hr: 9:00am-3:00pm (Lunch is provided)
Housing and airfare is not provided

Position 3
2017 Kindergarten and Elementary Teacher
-Starting from February 23rd (Thu) 2017
-Contract period: From Mar. 1st 2017 to Feb. 28th 2018
-5 days of training day is needed before school starts and training fee is provided
-One way airplane ticket, Housing or Housing Allowance, Lunch are provided
-Age group: 6yr-7yr for Kindergarten students, 6yr-11yr for Elementary Students
-Salary: 2.1mil KRW~2.4mil KRW, Severance pay, 4 major public Insurances are provided
-Working hr: 9:00am-6:15 pm(MWF), 9:00am-4:40(TTH)
-Holidays: National Holidays and 13 vacation days (10 days set by school, 3 days are personal holidays)
-3 working Saturdays (Spring & Fall picnic, JES concert)
-Preference will be given to teacher who has TEFL or TESOL certification or Kindergarten experiences

Job Considerations:

• JES Island welcomes applications from non-qualified or non-experienced teachers but preference will obviously be given to qualified applicants, i.e. teachers, be they in full-time teaching employment or not at the time of submitting an application, or those with education qualifications. Preference will also be given, in no particular order, to the applicants with previous Korea experience, those with ESL experience and / or qualifications, those with previous experience working with the young.
