English Instructor Employment in Daegu, Korea

- POSITION:
Yeungjin College located in the northern part of Daegu city in South Korea, is now accepting applicants for the next year.

- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Native English Speaker
- Korean Teaching experience should be more than 3 years
- Candidates holding Master's degree will be preferred.
- F2/F5/F6 visa holders are welcome.
- Applicant must be available to start work on February 28th 2017.

- SALARY and VACATION:
Teaching hours - 20h/week max.
4 day working week.
Salary based on Master's degree - \30,000,000 p.a.
Salary based on Bachelor's degree - \25,000,00 p.a.

Base salary is for teaching up to 20 hours per week. In rare cases where there is overtime, it will be paid at a minimum rate of 14,000won per hour. 4 weeks paid vacation for the first year. Subsequent contract re-signing entitles instructor to 8 weeks annual vacation. Candidates may be required to work at both the Bokhyeon Campus and the Chilgok campus. Shuttle will be provided to Chilgok Campus.
Extra work during Summer and Winter vacations is occasional and may not be paid. There are occasional opportunities for extra paid work with Daegu English Village, and Yeungjin FLI.

- BENEFITS:
Partially furnished single balcony apartment. (Riverside) five minute's walk to campus. A housing stipend will not be provided. Health insurance and pension will be provided as standard (KTP). Possibility of bonus depends on the instructor's evaluation each semester.

E2 visa holders should ensure that all preparations are in place to obtain a letter of release, should that be necessary. Alternatively if they need to re-apply for the E2 visa, they should make all the necessary preparations well in advance of the end of February.
