Experienced, Creative and Enthusiastic Teachers Needed in Budapest, Hungary

The International School of Budapest (ISB) is looking for experienced, creative and enthusiastic teachers to join us for the 2017/2018 School Year.* We are a small, independent international school located in hills of Buda, just 15 minutes from the center of town. As we are growing and expanding to a new campus, we are looking for exceptional teachers to join our school community.

Vacancies:

Middle School Teachers (Grades 6, 7, 8/Years 7, 8, 9)

We are seeking experienced Middle School Teachers to teach one or more of the following subjects:

• Mathematics
• Physics
• English Literacy and Language
• History/Geography
• Science

KS1/KS2 Class Teachers (Prep, Grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5/Year 1 – 6)

Class teachers should be able to teach the following subjects:

• English Literacy and Language
• Math
• Science
• Social Studies

Requirements:

• Teaching Credentials: Bachelor’s degree and a teaching certification (Master in Education or your specific field a plus)
• Native fluency
• At least 3 years relevant experience
• International experience a plus
• Excellent spoken and written communications skills in English
• Excellent IT skills and a willingness to incorporate IT into lessons
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• A willingness to be flexible, innovative and independent
• An understanding and dedication to differentiation, assessment for learning and teaching the whole child
• Ability to meet the individual needs of individual children in diverse groupings
• Experience and dedication to project based learning
• A willingness to improve your professional practice and to add to the professional improvement and success of the school
• Ability to meet high standards in regard to the planning and execution of lessons
• Experience with the Cambridge Curriculum or English National Curriculum is a plus
• Experience with Jolly Phonics, Read Write Inc., and Oxford Reading Tree is a plus for Primary candidates
