Program Area Director for Sustainable Development

Modul University Vienna (MU) is an Internationally-oriented organization for research and first class education in areas of tourism, sustainable development, international management, new media technology, and public governance. It was established by the Vienna Economic Chmaber of Commerce and accredited by the Austrian Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditaion.

MU in cooperation with DACH ADVISORY and Dubai Investments & Industies LLC just opened its 1" fully-fledged campus in Dubai located at the heart of Dubai in ONE JLT, Dubai's most pretigious business address within the Emirates fastest growing free-zone, the Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC accomodating more than 12,000 businesses.

Modul University Dubai has launched a selected range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs with the mission to establish the first Eropean center of excellence in tourism aand hospitalaity, in International Management and Sustainable Development in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

In this regard, MU is seeking outstanding scholars with a record of excellence in research and international practice to support the academic establishment and devvelopment of the Dubai campus.

Job Desciption

• Independent research in descriptive area and contributing to research and teaching undergraduate and graduate course of Modul University Dubai
• Teaching and conducting examinations
• Administrative and academic services

Program Area Directors' Functions are:

• Representing and developing the subject area and associated research fields withr respect to the development plan and to other other university bodies
• Ensuring that the teaching program complies with the curriculum
• Assuring the quality of teaching within the corresponding study program modules
• Assigning the internal teaching staff to the courses
• Recommend on the external teaching staff
• Responsibility to the resources at their disposal

Expected Qualifications

• Ph D Degree from the renowned instituitions
• Proven track record of teaching experience
• Publications in renowned journals
• Solid skills in research methods
• Fluent in English language
