Grade 1 – 6 Primary Teachers - The English Program at Assumption College Primary Section (Bangkok)

The English Program at Assumption College Primary Section (Bangkok) is seeking qualified primary school teachers from a native English speaking country to join our friendly, supportive and professional team. The positions available are:

- Grade 1 – 3 Primary Teachers (Homeroom + all subjects)
- Grade 4 – 6 Primary Teachers (Homeroom + subject specialism)

Applicants should have an ability to inspire young children and be a positive team player. All applicants must have a degree in education or a post graduate teaching certificate (PGCE or equivalent).

The positions are available to start from 18th March 2017.

Grade 1-3 teachers will teach English, Mathematics, Science and Health to their own Homeroom class. They will also be responsible for looking after the welfare of the students in their class.

Grade 4-6 teachers will teach either English, Mathematics or Science as their specialist subject. They will also have their own Homeroom class for which they will be responsible for teaching reading and spelling, as well as looking after the students’ welfare.

The initial contract will be until March 2018 and, subject to performance, the contract will be extended for an additional twelve months from that time.

The successful applicant will receive a generous salary, end of year bonus, health insurance and approximately eleven weeks paid holiday (in a full school year). EP class sizes are 20 students in Grade 1 and 25 students in Grades 2 - 6.
