Hours: 40 hours

We are looking for candidates with a passion for higher education. An individual who is inquisitive and spends just as much time on obtaining theoretical knowledge as on maintaining a relation with the industry.

Candidates MUST hold a master degree in business administration. Understanding of the Thai Qualification Framework (TQF) is an advantage however, not essential as training is provided.

The candidate must have developed intercultural sensitivity and have excellent communication skills. The candidate should be well organized, flexible and able to work as part of a team, as well as using their own initiative. Excellent command of the English language is vital.

Successful candidates are inducted on our mandatory intensive Induction program, whereby candidates are supported to understand and develop their knowledge around the requirements set forth by the Ministry of Education Thailand.

Major Duties:
- To contribute to existing undergraduate and postgraduate modules in the Department of International Programs through lecturing, tutorials, assessment etc.
- To contribute where appropriate to non-departmental modules and programs e.g. teaching on undergraduate programs, supervision at all levels including BBA placement students.
- To help develop, where appropriate, revisions to existing modules or new modules, in terms of content, structure, forms of delivery, methods of assessment, etc.
- To develop a research program relevant to the research agenda of the Department of International Programs.
- To undertake any other duties (including administrative and outreach duties) as may be directed by the Head of Department of International Programs.
- Engage in collaborative work with external organisations.

Candidates not meeting the above requirements will not be considered.

Candidates should:
• have a record of research publications
• have demonstrated active participation (presenting papers; organizing panels) in academic conferences
• have evidence of ability to work, individually or jointly, to formulate research proposals and make applications for research funding;
• have other evidence of esteem indicators such as invitations to examine doctoral theses, address national or international conferences, review journal articles and/or research applications, serve on committees of professional bodies or act as a consultant to external organisations;
• have a record of competent teaching as evidenced, for example, by a teaching profile, peer observation, and student feedback;
• be capable of successful innovation in teaching methods and assessment, or leadership of departmental initiatives to improve teaching;
• be capable of authorship of relevant teaching materials;
• be capable of playing a significant role in teaching activities outside the College, for example as an assessor or external examiner;
• be capable of successfully taking a leading administrative role within the Department.
