ELC, a leader in Peruvian English language education, is looking for an experienced teacher to serve as both an English (EFL) instructor and as a TEFL certificate course instructor. This position requires the native English speaker who has a bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics or EFL, plus at least 3 years experience teaching abroad OR a master's degree in Education, Linguistics or TESOL plus one year of experience teaching English abroad. We are an internationally accredited TEFL certificate course provider. Thus, this instructor will teach our 120 hour TEFL course to international students most months. However, we do not offer a course every month, so some months this person will need to be flexible and willing to teach regular EFL courses to Peruvian students.

Peru is a developing country, so the cost of living is relatively low. That also means that our students can’t afford to pay a lot for their classes. Our pay is good, for the area, and you can easily live on your salary. We can't offer free airfare or housing. We do have airport pickup, help finding housing and excellent orientation. We also promote from within whenever possible. So, if you want to prove yourself and move up, this is the place for you.
