English Teachers needed by a government secondary school in Phetchaburi Thailand

One teacher is required as soon as possible. Other teachers are needed for the next school year starting in May 2017.

Prommanusorn Phetchaburi School is one of the top government schools in the area. The school has about 3,000 students from ages 13-18 years (grades 7-12)

Responsibilities:

. to be at school 8.00am - 4.10pm
. teach up to 20 contact hours per week
. present a professional teacher image
. respect Thai culture and religion

Requirements:

. native English speaker
. Bachelor degree
. CELTA or TESOL
. teaching experience

The school can offer:

. starting salary of 30,000 - 32,000 baht
. housing allowance 2,000 baht

Phetchaburi is an old historical city with many interesting and beautiful temples. It is situated about two hours drive SW of Bangkok. The beach resort of Hadchao Samran is only 20 minutes away. Kaeng Krachan National Park with camping, hiking and other outdoor activities is just to the west of the city.

The Foreign Language Department is an important part of the school with foreign teachers from many different countries. The working environment is friendly, supportive and relaxed. The teachers are free to design their own creative and fun lesson plans while following the school text books. Most classes are shared with a co teacher, making class sizes of about 25 students.
