The Job

Our language school was established in Beijing in 2009, has expanded across China now boasting over 70 schools in 30 major cities including Beijing, Nanjing, Chongqing, Hefei and Shenyang. Our school was created to provide much-needed quality after school English training for children aged 2 to 12 years old, in a fun, motivating and entirely English speaking environment.

We are now holding interviews for English teachers, new or experienced, to join our teaching team. If you are motivated to inspire and educate our young learners then we would like to discuss our opportunities with you.

Rather than teaching just English as a subject, we teach different subjects in English, a method based on and incorporating several educational theories. Subjects include art, music, global leadership, reading, logical thinking, drama and world cultures. Our curriculum has been pre-prepared and tested with lesson plans provided. Our classrooms feature smart board technology, a limit of just 14 students per class and a Chinese teaching assistant.

Locations in China

We have established schools in over 30 major cities across China, including central Beijing, Nanjing, Chongqing, Hefei, Shenyang, Guangzhou, Suzhou, Wuhan, Dalian to name just a few. Take your pick from numerous exciting locations in China, from vibrant east coast cities, large metropolises, more remote locations in the west of China, locations in Inner Mongolia such as Hohhot and even the southern island of Hainan. We will provide more details on each school and city once we receive your application.

Main Responsibilities
o Work 5 days a week with 16 hours of teaching (max 32 work hours per week)
o Deliver engaging, effective, learner-centered lessons to our young learner students
o Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner
o Actively participate in professional development workshops and activities
o Attend center activities, parties, open houses and other events


Compensation
Total monthly package worth 15,000 to 19,000 RMB per month which breaks down as follows:
o Excellent salary: 9,500 to 12,500 RMB per month (depending on qualifications and experience)
o Flight from current location to China paid for upfront and in full by the school
o Housing allowance provided: 4,000RMB for Beijing, 2 to 3,000 RMB for other cities
o 6,000 RMB relocation allowance on arrival
o Flight from current location to China paid for upfront and in full by the school
o KPI bonus up to 1,500 RMB per month
o 6 month fast track for raise based on performance
o 10 days paid professional training at the start of your contract
o Teaching package include lesson plans provided
o TEFL fees covered if one is required
o Health insurance provided

o Support and communication between teachers and centers


Requirements
o Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa or Ireland
o Bachelors degree or above (Education degrees negate the need for TEFL or teaching experience)

o Teaching experience preferred
o Must love working with children
