TEACHING POSITION: WiangsaSueksa

WiangsaSueksa is seeking a female Native English Speaker to teach English to Kindergarten levels 1 – 3.

Wiangsa is a very authentic Thai village with very little English being spoken. It is 70km from Suratthani City and it is a wonderful opportunity for a western teacher to immerse themselves into Thai culture.

Start Date: June 2014

Position and School Benefits

Full Time Contract Duration: 11 months

Salary of 30,000Baht

3,000 baht for housing allowance.

Overtime paid at 300Baht per hour

10 sick days

25 days holiday paid (10 days in October 2014 and 15 days in April 2015)

Insurance provided.

Monday – Friday 08.00 – 15:30

Days off (Sat &Sun, Public Holidays)

TEACHING POSITION: Nora Group Management Co.,Ltd

General Overview: Nora Group Management Co.,Ltd operate four luxury hotels and Spas on Koh Samui island. The staff seek to improve their English communication skills. The successful applicant will be conveniently based at Nora Buri Resort & Spa, 25km from Nathon pier. The resort is beautifully situated in a quiet location on the island with lush greenery and white sandy beaches. The position offers a wonderful opportunity for a western teacher to immerse themselves into Thai culture.

Days: Monday to Friday

Time: 08.00am – 5.00pm

Subject: English for hotel staff (all departments)

Class size: 20

Amount of Classes: 22

Class Duration: 1 hour

COMPENSATION

Monthly Salary: 30,000B

Paid Sick Days: 10 days

Holiday paid Days: 25 days (Times to be confirmed)

Overtime Pay: 300B per hour

Accommodation: Provided

Insurance: Provided

Laundry service for uniform: Provided

Meals: Provided at the Staff Canteen

Key requirements include:

Native speaker from U.S., U.K., Ireland, Canada, Australia or New Zealand with a Degree (Others need not apply please),

TESOL Training and Certificate provided.

A desire to develop in the ESL teaching profession.

Experience using word, excel and power point for teaching and assessment purposes.

A willingness to be actively involved in extra curricular activities (parent meetings, children’s parties etc)

Good written and spoken communication skills while showing ability to work under pressure.
