Trainers of English Needed in Malaysia, Nationwide


Would you like to use your skills to help thousands of teachers and millions of school children across Malaysia?

British Council in Malaysia is recruiting a team of Trainers to work on the Pro-ELT project based across all states in Malaysia.

Throughout Malaysia, our ProELT project aims to strengthen English teaching and learning through language proficiency and pedagogy training of Malaysian English language teachers. It is an excellent career development opportunity for Teacher Trainers to broaden their academic and professional skills.

This project would suit flexible, autonomous self-starters who are comfortable working independently in often remote, rural locations. Applicants should have:

• an internationally recognised TEFL qualification (Cambridge CELTA/Trinity CertTESOL/PGCE TESOL)

• an undergraduate/university degree

• significant post-certificate teaching experience (please refer to the role profile for more information)

We are offering a 6-month contract starting in June 2014 and a 9-month contract starting on 1 July 2014.
