2 English Teacher or Assistant Language Teachers (ALT) Needed in Sano - Ota (Tochigi & Gunma Prefecture), Japan

Fifth Wings is now recruiting for 2 English Teacher or Assistant Language Teachers (ALT), preferably with previous experience as an English Teacher to work GUNMA or TOCHIGI area for the school year April 2017 - April 2018.

Applicants should be in Japan already or able to come to Japan ASAP.

POSITION # 1: (OTA - GUNMA PREFECTURE) 6 DAYS / WEEK

*** APPLICANTS MUST BE A NATIVE OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES. Canada, The UK, Australia, New Zealand, USA or from a country of which the first language is English or that lists English amonst its official languages and must have a command of English equivalent to that of a native speaker. FEMALE teachers encouraged to apply and preferred due to teaching little kids.

CONTRACT PERIOD: 1 year contract, start April 2017 and ends March 2018.

PAYMENT: ¥ 250,000 – per month before taxes.

Salary to be paid on the 10th of each month.

RESIDENCE: Accommodation will be found for the applicant. Company will pay the key money, modern tidy apartment.
Teacher pays monthly rent of ¥ 52000 - ¥55,000 plus utilities, gas and power. In Japan, rent is paid at the beginning of the month.

WORKING HOURS: Schedule and hours vary throughout the week. Teachers required to work 6 days a week with plenty of breaks and relaxing time. Classes range between 45 minutes – 50 minutes (including 10 minutes break).

TYPE OF WORK: Teach English to kindergarten kids, elementary school kids and some classes adult classes. Experience with children is essential. Ability to relate to and have fun with children. Participate in and assist with extra-curricular activities. Assist with other duties specified by the supervisor or the school principal at your workplace.

POSITION # 2: (SANO - TOCHIGI PREFECTURE) 5 DAYS / WEEK

*** APPLICANTS MUST BE A NATIVE OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES. Canada, USA or from a country of which the first language is English or that lists English amonst its official languages and must have a command of English equivalent to that of a native speaker. MALE teachers preferred.

CONTRACT PERIOD: 1 year contract, start April 2017 and ends March 2018.

TYPE OF WORK: Teach English and some science at a private Junior High School.

REQUIRED: Teacher with a Science Degree is preferred. TESL/TEFL/CELTA or teaching certification, and basic Japanese ability preferred but not necessary. Applicants must be of sound mental and physical health. Applicants must not have a criminal record.

VISA: Company will provide full sponsorship to applicant.

HOLIDAYS: All Japanese Calendar holidays are paid.
