Kinder Teachers needed starting in February and March

We are looking to add to our team of 20+ native English teachers. We are looking for teachers who can start either February 1 or March 1.

Kindergarten Homeroom/Afterschool Teacher
These teachers are responsible for one kindergarten classroom of 5, 6, or 7 year olds from 9:30-2:30 each day with a one hour lunch break. Planning time is available when the students are taking subject classes like gym, science, art, and baking, at least 40 minutes each day. After school, these teachers will have one full class from either 2:30-4:30 or 4:30 to 6:30, and sometimes half of the other session. Each week includes about 29 hours of teaching and 11 hours of planning time. We also have different schedules available with less working hours for less salary.

Our school is very different from other hagwons. Founded by an American and Swedish couple in 2013, it is a genuinely fun environment with small classes and large classrooms, and lesson plans geared around speaking, writing, Science, Literature, Social Studies, and Debate, with plenty of games and activities. This is not a job for people who just go through the motions of teaching. We are looking for smart, dynamic, fun, and very enthusiastic people. We value high performing teachers, treat them like professionals, and reward them accordingly.

Requirements:
Experience with teaching children, preferably in Korea
Fluent, native English
Love for kids, great attitude, flexible mind, willing to try new methods
Creative approach to solving problems and getting the best out of kids
Smart, fun, kind, enthusiastic

Compensation:
KRW 3.3 million per month, depending on schedule
Performance bonuses
Health insurance and Pension
One month severance pay at end of contract
Housing provided, but rent is deducted from salary
15 days paid time off, in addition to Korean holidays
Generally, working hours will be 40 hours per week, (9:30-6:30 M-F with lunch break) and teaching hours about 29 hours per week.
