TERAKKI FOUNDATION SCHOOLS SEEK NATIVE-SPEAKING ENGLISH TEACHERS FOR THE 2017-2018 SCHOOL YEAR

DETAILS: For the 2017-2018 academic year, Terakki Foundation Schools in Istanbul are accepting applications from qualified primary, middle, and secondary school EFL teachers who are native speakers of English. Positions are available at both our European and Asian-side campuses. Please note that only short-listed candidates will be contacted.

QUALIFICATIONS: We seek hard-working, creative team players who can contribute to the continuous development of our English-language programs. Candidates must have a B.A./B.Ed in TEFL/TESOL and at least three years of relevant experience. Candidates with a B.A./B.Ed in other fields must also have TEFL/TESL/TESOL/CELTA certification. Preferred candidates will have either the DELTA or a relevant M.A./M.Ed.

SALARY AND BENEFITS: Salary is highly competitive, paid monthly in US dollars. Private health insurance, a plane ticket home (plus a return ticket for continuing employees), and daily buffet-style school lunches are also included in the package.
JOB SUMMARY: English teachers at Terakki have a wide range of responsibilities, including yearly and weekly planning, curriculum and materials development, exam and assessment tool preparation, and instruction. They are expected to implement the Foreign Languages Department curriculum on the classroom level and to ensure that all students are receiving an education in line with our departmental mission and meeting our school’s high academic standards.
