K-12 ESL English Teacher Surat Thani

Sithammarat Suksa School (AMC) is seeking an English teacher to teach multiple levels in Surat Thani, Thailand!

We need an English teacher to start immediately.  The successful applicant will teach about 15 periods per week of English to 5-18 year-olds.

Requirements:

• Passport from: USA, Canada, UK, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand
• Bachelors' degree
• Adaptability and a fun-loving attitude!

Preferred but not required:

• Education degree/Graduate degree
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA training
• Teaching/other related experience

Benefits:

Starting salary 30,000 Thai baht per month (based on qualifications and experience) with yearly raises

Our city, Nakon Si Thammarat, is an ancient trading capital with most modern western conveniences: internet, satellite TV, pizza and McDonalds. Renting a house can be done for about 15% of monthly salary, leaving plenty to experience local culture in our medium-sized, non-touristic Thai city.
