FULL-TIME EFL INSTRUCTOR of NORTH AMERICAN ENGLISH - Tokyo, Japan

MIL-The Language Center in Chiba, Japan has one full-time, one-year position available for an EFL Instructor of North American English (both kids and adult classes). In addition to our eikaiwa, this position involves working a few days a week in Japanese kindergarten classes, so the applicant MUST enjoy working with children, have strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrated prior experience, preferably in a kindergarten or elementary school setting.
A University degree (BA or BS minimum) in any field is required. MIL will sponsor or renew visas.
We are looking for someone who will come to Japan in late March for orientation and training, and be ready to take over classes at the beginning of April.

Hours: Maximum 26.5 teaching hours per week.

Salary : Starting base salary 250,000 – 270,000 yen/month, depending on background and prior experience. All work-related transportation is reimbursed monthly, with monthly salary.

Accommodation: The Instructor will live in the Tokyo area, probably near Kinshicho.

One-year contract,(possibly renewable).
