English language Instructor – Saudi Arabia

Chase Resourcing is happy to announce we are currently seeking an English language Instructor in Saudi Arabia.

Job Description

The Instructor will be responsible for providing the highest level of teaching and customer service ensuring the customers’ experience at the centre meets or exceeds their expectations. He/She should give high quality, learner- centred, goal-oriented language instruction which follows teaching principles and techniques. He/she should create a positive and safe classroom atmosphere where Kids and Teens are motivated to learn, parents are satisfied with their child’s progress, and have their needs and goals met. The Instructor commits to, and actively participates in professional development programs to enhance the quality and consistency of product delivery and satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver learner-centred, goal-oriented lessons and established teaching principles.
Teach beginner, intermediate and advanced-level students of all ages in large classes, groups and private lessons.
Teach and support overnight camps – where applicable in local areas.
Integrate learning technology, where available.
Present language learnt to parents according to country guidelines.
Learner Management / Learning Cycle

Provide timely information about young learner customers’ progress, strengths and weaknesses, using sound constructive feedback skills.
Complete all administrative tasks (progress cards, teacher slips, reports etc) in a timely manner and in compliance with local policies.
Evaluate learner progress; Communicate issues, concerns and requests directly to instructional supervisor or designee, in a timely manner.
Be responsible and accountable for obtaining and adhering to teaching schedules.
Actively participate in professional development workshops and activities.
Take an active role as a front line representative and strive to ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
Deliver open house lessons (parent lesson observations)
Help promote the centres’ events to customers.
Support conducting level checks, counselling, and confirmation and assist in making recommendations for customer programs, progress and improvement.
Take a proactive role in professional self-development to help the centre achieve its goals

Additional Responsibilities

Support centre activities, gatherings, parties, open houses and other events
Conduct placements and demo
Do level-checks, write reports, conduct tests, and develop materials
Assist coordinating programs
Accept and carry out additional responsibilities to support the company
Actively work with other instructors to share best practices

Requirements

College degree – Bachelor degree
Native fluency in language instructed
Appropriate visa status/country compliant work status
Provide availability that meets the needs of the centre
Successful completion of all Instructor Qualification Program modules
Agree to be observed, evaluated, and to provide self-assessment feedback
Agree to participate in non-teaching activities as appropriate and required
Maintain a collaborative relationship with other employees
Commit to follow the centres’ and local Codes of Conduct.
