ILC -International Language Center- is looking for teachers.
Always looking for foreign teachers who want to work 6 hours a day with us, and get to know the real Andean culture, far away from the beaten tourist path. You can stay for a minimum of 3 months and up to 1 year, it’s totally flexible and entirely up to you.

Who we are:
ILC, International Language Center, is a small school that has been teaching English and other European languages to local people for 14 years. ILC operates with recognition from the Peruvian Ministry of Education.
ILC is also an International TOEFL ITP authorized test center.
ILC is involved deeply with the local community and cooperates with various public and private schools in the area.

Where we are:
Our main branch is located in Chachapoyas, a tiny city surrounded by the Andean mountains, about 2300 metres above sea level, in the remote north eastern area of Peru, enjoying temperate mild climate all year round.
Chachapoyas is surrounded by approximately 3000 lost jungle cities, the most famous of which is called Kuelap, from a pre Inca civilizations.
In 2005, the world’s third highest waterfall, Gocta, was discovered here.
We also have schools in Moyobamba, Bagua Grande and Mendoza. These are all very warm areas with lush vegetation and spectacular landscapes so if you prefer the heat to the clouds and the jungle to the mountains then these schools may be the place for you.

Tasks:
• Teach English to small groups for a stipend of S/ 1400.00 nuevos soles per month.
Exchange experiences with other teachers and thereby contribute to constantly improve the educational quality of your classes
Work 6 hours a day or more if you wish and if there is availability.

Requirements:
• At least 20 years old
• Native or near-native speaker of English and with good communicational skills
• Willing to stay in Chachapoyas for a minimum of 3 months.

Preferred Additional Qualifications
You already know some Spanish
You already have practical experiences in teaching
You can teach other European Languages
