Literacy Specialist - Elementary School in Doha, Qatar

This school offers an excellent working environment and utilizes the British Columbia teaching curriculum. Start date for this position is August 2017 and one or two year contracts are available.

Requirements:
- Related Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited university
- Fluent English speaker and excellent communicator
- Licensed teachers (Qualified Teaching License) with experience in language acquisition support at the Elementary level
- Reading Recovery training is preferred
- Teachers from BC, other Canadian provinces, the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa are welcome to apply
- A minimum of five years of experience is required
- Experience in ESL education is strongly preferred
- International experience and/or an attitude of respect to other cultures is needed.
- ​Due to visa requirements we can only accept candidates up to 58 years old
