Spend two weeks at our hand-picked training resort in beautiful Kanchanaburi, Thailand, learning core TEFL principles and techniques with an experienced TEFL trainer. After that, launch into your first paid teaching job in one of our partner schools!

After completing your 120 hr course with us you will be guaranteed a placement in one of our partner schools – ensuring that we are with you from training right through to your time with us as a teacher!

Course Breakdown

Your 120hr TEFL Certificate consists of:

40 hrs of remote Online Training

This component can be completed remotely, before you arrive, or you also have the option to complete it alongside the Face-To- Face component of the course. This part is more flexible and works around you.

You will have the theory and academic side of TEFL consolidated before moving on to the practical element of the course – where the fun begins!

80 hrs of Face-to- Face Training in Thailand (April 22 - May 6 2017)

Welcome to Kanchanaburi! The resort we have chosen is located in a part of Thailand that is known for its natural beauty and hidden wonders. You will be staying on Chao Praya River, at a resort nestled into the hillside in a beautiful part of the country. This is an unspoilt area that is concerned with conservation and heritage – there is a National Park close by that is home to a breath-taking 7-tier waterfall as well as other fun activities for you to partake in.

This part of the course is about interaction and engagement. You will find yourself up and out of your seat demo-ing lesson ideas alongside your peers and having the classroom environment simulated. The trainer will take you through the style and techniques in a fun and interactive way. You will get to know your fellow trainees very well over the 2 weeks, both inside the classroom and out. You'll have a chance to teach in a local Thai school to practice all the skills you are learning and also enjoy Thai lessons, where you have a chance to be a student and see the challenges you're faced with when learning a new language!

Course cost: 40,000 THB (Thai Baht) in total

Requirements:

- BA degree holder (any subject)

- Enthusiastic!

- Can-do attitude
