Canadian Franchise School is recruiting International Elementary Teachers – Phnom Penh, Cambodia June/July 2017
Learning Jungle International School is currently looking for 3 dynamic and enthusiastic internal elementary teachers. We offer competitive salary and generous holiday leave.

Package:
• Competitive salary depending on the experience and education
• Airfare reimbursed at the completion of contract
• Mon-Fri 7:30am to 4:30pm, preparation time is included, 1 hour lunch break
• 23 days paid public holidays per year, plus
• 18 days paid annual leave, plus
• 6 days paid annual sick leave, plus
• 2 weeks paid semester breaks per year
• Visa and Work Permit- reimbursed upon completion of contract
• Assistance in finding the accommodation provided
• Airport pick up provided
Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor degree
• B. Ed with valid Teaching Certificate is a plus
• Canadian candidate is a plus
• Police Clearance Certificate
• Native English Teachers only
• Candidates with international experience preferred
Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate an understanding of and love for young children and enthusiasm for developing a happy, creative atmosphere for the children.
• Plan, develop, conduct and monitor courses for presentation to students according to approved curriculum keeping in view the individual learning needs of the children
• Lead students in activities to promote their physical, mental and social development and their school readiness
• Prepare, administer and correct tests
• Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help
• Teach students using lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations and field trips
• Assign and correct homework
• Evaluate the progress of students and discuss progress results with students, parents and school officials
• Write report cards
• Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
• Establish and maintain a warm supportive relationship with the families of the children.
• Develop course materials and curriculum content
• Keep accurate and current, the records as required by the school
• Attend meetings and professional development as requested
• Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
• Be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, stimulating environment for children in the assigned classroom and for the School
