Both study pathways are benchmarked with internationally and nationally recognized qualifications/certifications and carefully designed to suit students in Vietnam.

VAS Summer School Programme 2017

The VAS Summer School Programme 2017 will offer a programme completely different from the academic year. The aim is to deliver an exciting, enriching & relaxing summer camp, a chance for both teachers and students to enjoy a fun programme that is completely different from their normal day to day. This year’s Summer School Programme will be from 3 June 2017 to 22 July 2017, including a 1-week training and 6–week Summer School Programme.

The Summer Camp Programme will focus on play, entertainment, physical development as well as developing core values and life skills. The programme will continue to provide students with an opportunity to pursue their personal hobbies and passions. The inter-linked idea of the VAS Summer School Programme 2017 continues to be “Growing through the VAS Core Values”, where students will further their knowledge of the “VAS Students’ 7 Core Values” and experience meaningful social and personal development skills.

Next to this VAS will offer an intensive Academic English Programme for the students to address any areas of weakness. This programme focuses fully on equipping students with the necessary English skills which they fall short of in order to help them successfully manage the mainstream Cambridge Academic Programme in the new school year.

The entire Summer School Programme is 7 weeks long (1 training week and 6 summer programme weeks) and comprises of three parts:
• Talents Programme: 25% time allocation spent on developing and nurturing new talents for students. Students in different grades will study for 10 sessions per week on a specific area. For example, this year’s Grade 4 & 5 students will have music lessons where they learn how to play a specific instrument whilst also having music education lessons.
• Soft Skill Programme: 25% time allocation, where students will learn about topics close to their physical and mental development age. Here students will focus on developing their social and emotional aspect of learning.
• Summer Camp Programme: 50% time allocation (half day) spent on summer camp activities, which focus on play, social and physical development as well as nurturing the core values and aiding life skills development (conducted fully in English)
