All Block Contracts include the full salaries, allowances, and benefits listed above no matter how short or long the contract is.

What to Do Now to Secure Your Teaching Job

In order to proceed with your application for a teaching post, American Academy requires a full and complete American Academy Teacher Portfolio for every candidate.

If you have submitted your documents before, you still must resubmit ALL of the "Required Documents List" noted below in a single email only. Please do not send several emails with different documents and expect us to organize everything for you. Incomplete submissions will be deleted.

How to Label Your Documents

(If not labeled as per instructions, we will not process your application for a teaching post)

Before attaching the documents to the email, you must label your documents as follows, please. All files must be labeled in English language.

Your full name as it appears on your passport - name of the document you are labeling.

Examples:

John Richard Smith - Resume

John Richard Smith - BA English Degree

John Richard Smith - BA English Transcript

John Richard Smith - TEFL Certificate

John Richard Smith - Passport

All documents must be labeled this way, please. Thank you for your kind support.

If you do not have one of the documents on this list, include a statement in your return email explaining why when submitting your documents. We will try to assist you to get your "Approval to Hire", but we need to understand why you do not have the document(s).

Required Documents List

1) Complete resume with names of schools, dates employed, job duties, references, educational qualifications, contact phone number, LINE, WhatsApp

2) Scan of Passport Data Page

3) Scan of all university degrees (You must send copies for all degrees)

4) Scan of all university transcripts (You must send transcripts for all degrees)

5) Scan of ESL Teaching Certificate - CELTA, DELTA, TEFL, or TESOL

Teachers with a Bachelor of Education degree in English showing a Student Teaching Practicum on their university transcript are not required to have #5 certificates, but it is preferred if you do have one of these ESL teaching certificates.
