Teacher of English Conversation to Children and Adults Needed in Tokyo, Japan

Location: Tokyo, JAPAN. The school is in a very desirable location 25 minutes by train from the heart of downtown Tokyo.

Working time: 35 hours per week, including teaching 27 classes (50 minutes per class).
Full-time employee
One-year contract starting August 01, 2017 and ending July 31, 2018.
Visa sponsorship, Insurance, housing available.

The spring vacation schedule is as follows: five days (April 29, May
02, 03, 04, 05) are counted as holiday days off. Two days (April 30,
May 01) may be taken as vacation days off.

The winter vacation schedule is as follows: twelve days (December 23
to January 03) are days off. In those twelve days, December 23 to
December 29 (five days) are counted as set vacation days off.
December 30 to January 03 the school is closed. January 04, 05
may be taken as vacation days.

Four-year college degree required
Must be a native speaker of English and nationality from North America.
Age from 23.
Prefer experience working with children or some other teaching experience; also sports, singing, musical instrument, art, dance.
(example: Experience with coaching soccer or some team sports.)
We have many extracurricular activities, and give teachers the opportunity to learn Awaodori Ð Our teachers are strongly encouraged to participate in Awaodori, a 431-year-old dance which originated from Tokushima Prefecture. It is a wonderful opportunity to become immediately engaged with the community and is a chance to not only learn Japanese culture, but to participate in it as well!!
