Two Qualified, Enthusiastic, Creative English Teachers Needed in Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Quintana Roo, Mexico

Na'atik Language and Culture Institute is looking for two qualified, enthusiastic, creative English teachers to start mid-August for our 2017-18 school year. Both teachers will teach a variety of ages and levels and one teacher will also teach our young learners (ages 4-6). Na'atik is a unique non-profit language institute located in the Yucatan Peninsula in the small, safe Mexican-Maya city of Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Quintana Roo. The town is approximately three hours south of Cancun, two hours north of Belize and one hour inland from the Caribbean Sea. Na’atik offers affordable English courses and scholarships to increase access to education and opportunities in the Maya Zone. The school also runs a study abroad program for Spanish and Maya language for English-speakers. Our English language program is committed to providing teacher support and excellent texts. Qualifications:
Native English speaker
Degree from an accredited university
TEFL/CELTA/TESOL certified and one year of classroom experience
Adventurous and independent spirit
Willingness to help organize and participate in special events and field trips
Basic Spanish
Experience in the developing world, a plus
