CELTA qualified EFL Teacher Trainer is needed in the oil-rich Atyrau region of Western Kazakhstan

The British Council in Kazakhstan is looking for an experienced, flexible and self-motivated CELTA qualified EFL teacher trainer who has done his/her initial teacher training and then gained significant post-certificate teaching experience with a range of ages and abilities.

The teacher trainer will deliver in-service programmes for primary and secondary school teachers of English and pre-service university students and ensure that full support is provided throughout the duration of the contract. The teacher trainer will be the key person for all training aspects of the project. The teacher trainer will ensure strong, trusting relationship with teachers, school administrators, education authorities and be supported by the British Council ELT team and finance unit based in Almaty and Astana as well as a full time local project coordinator based in Atyrau.

The post holder will be working for the period of 7 months providing local teachers with teaching methodology in order to improve the teaching of English in Atyrau and Kulsary.
