A position is available for the 18th August 2017 at Avalon English Academy in Wonju-Si, South Korea. It is 90 minutes by bus away from Seoul.

The Academy is well established and teaches children from ages 6 to 16. Therefore, this is a perfect job for anyone who wishes to gain a range of experiences with different age groups. There are five other foreign teachers at the same Academy and it is a welcoming work environment.

Wonju-si is a large town with all the necessity amenities - cinemas, bowling alleys, restaurants, and bars. There are also cheap gyms and lots of outdoor green spaces.

The job is teaching 8 classes a day (40 - 45 minutes each) with around 10 students (although classes are often smaller). You follow a set curriculum so no preparation work is required.

The salary is 2.1 million won, free housing, free airfare, one-month extra salary at the completion of your contract and 50 % medical insurance. 10 days vacation - one period in winter and the other in summer

Requirements:

We simply require someone who has a university degree and a person who is enthusiastic about teaching. However, for the E2 visa, you must be a citizen of the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.
