Native English Speaking Teachers Needed in Mandalay, Myanmar

Two family-owned private schools in residential Mandalay are looking for 2-3 enthusiastic teachers who love playing English games, singing songs, and creating an active classroom environment.

Must be a native speaker from the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada or Ireland with a CELTA or TESOL certificate highly preferred. Couples welcome to apply.

Students study English throughout the year and the curriculum aims to engage existing knowledge in the form of activities and games in the classroom.

Teaching assistants will assist in classes with students below 5th grade.

Start Date: July 1st

Salary: $1000 a month paid in USD or in local currency at the daily exchange rate; currently tax free; cost of living is low and accommodation is provided, so potential for savings is good

Workload: 25 hours a week; two consecutive days off per week; Paid National holidays

Age groups: Preschool to 10th grade

Accommodation: brand new and very clean hotel room provided; walking distance from the school or transportation provided; air-conditioned, wi-fi and breakfast included

Flight Reimbursement: Up to a $800 dollars paid with fourth salary

Contract Length: 6 month initial contract
